I am 30 with adult acne on my cheeks. When younger it was on my t-zone but now mostly on my cheeks and beginning to scar. I have been on accutane before. Cleared it up but it's back in different location.

I am currently using combo of dial soap, tri-derma intense fast healing in morning and acnexus and benzaclin at night.

i got this weird pimple on my face, and i didn't touch it, but it became really inflamed and overnight turned into a scab/scar. school starts in a couple days and i'm really upset. i've been using anti-acne face washes but nothing helps. please help
i'm not using accutane, first of all it's a prescription medicine, and second it's been known to have extremely harmful side effects.

I wanna lose weight and the guys from gnc recommended LCarnitine since im sensitive to caffeine but they say take 1 capsule in the morning which is the same time i have to take my accutane medicine for my mild acne. I was just wondering if it is safe to mix the two together? seeing as carnitine is just an amino acid thin?? Help?

Ive seen great results on my friends faces with the use of the home Microdermabrasion kits. I really want to achieve the amazing complexion and glow they have.

However, some websites advise not to use Microdermabrasion when on accutane, Why not ?

If so, who prescribes the birth control? Is it the same doctor that gives you Accutane or do you have to go to a gynecologist?

I know that acne treatment gels are made to use as spot treatments on existing acne,,, but would it be reasonable to put a thin layer on an area of your face that doesn't currently have any pimples, but you know that it's acne prone?
p.s. i don't have bad skin, just occasional breakouts. so I am not looking into accutane....

I just got in a fight with my dermatologist (he's a jerk) and he won't tell me so why not ask the community, right? I'm 32, been on Accutane thrice but I forgot how long after treatment I have to be careful about my liver and all. My exams on my last day of Accutane said that all my transglicerides and transaminasas (in English?) are within range. So when can I start eating steak and drinking wine and playing beach volleyball again?

Does it effect the liver in any dramatic way or interfere with the accutane medication?

And will it effect the monthly liver tests that you have to take while on accutane?
