i need information about prescription acne treatments that includes side effects, your personal experiences with the drug, how long it takes to clear your skin, and how effective it is.

i have some acne on my face but mostly on my forehead. My skin is pretty oily (but of course mostly on my forehead) I have a lot of stress and try to cover it up with makeup but that doesn't seem to help. Ive tried a lot of different acne treatments but none of them work, can everybody with the same problem as me tell me what drugstore product works best for them? thanks so much!

If you've used either or both of these acne treatments, which one works best/do they work at all?

I was thinking about buying proactiv but i didn't want to have to order anything and also i was thinking about buying these acne treatments Clean & Clear Toner, Neutrogena Acne Treatment Lotion and Clearasil but i don't know which one will actually work for me

I have very oily skin. I've used proactive but it seems to make my skin more oily than it is. I've also use origins but that did not help at all. Right now, I'm using Indian clay and I haven't noticed muh diffeence. so, can you please suggest any acne treatments that can be effective for oily skin!?!?!?

I have seen sooooo many types of acne treatments on T.V. (Ex. proactive, clearasil, neutrogena, clean & clear)All of them claim to better than proactive so which is the best?

I've noticed that after a few months, acne treatments fail me. What are some good treatments that you have used? Do you have any allergies? I think I am allergic to benzoyl peroxide; I developed a mild irritation. Currently I am using the Vichy Normaderm line but I am looking for something to use on the acne, not any facial washes/lotions since Vichy is great when it comes to washes and lotions.

I've had problems with acne since middle school. I've gone to dermatolgists and have used all sorts of medicine from them and nothing. I've even used ProActive for a couple of years with only mediocre (if thats how you spell it) results. So I was wondering, instead of going back to the doctors, what are some of the best drugstore acne treatments out there? I have sensitive skin also so I have to be careful. And if anyone knows what makeup will help me not to breakout, that'd be great too.

And please, no one say ProActive. I'm not trying that again.
